Good design is at the heart of everything we do.
We design and project-manage a wide range of materials – from presentations to print; from websites to signage; from brochures, leaflets and newsletters to office or promotional stationery.
We are strong advocates of clear content, bold graphics – and of simplicity above all.
We produce original designs as well as working with major design companies to adapt their work for use in presentations.
Template and slide design
For an effective presentation slide design is key and it starts with a well thought out and implemented template to keep things consistent and make editing easier. We can design bespoke templates for a variety of purposes.
Printing
At Showcase we have considerable experience in preparing material for different forms of printing. We are conscious that the design effort is wasted if the printing is unsatisfactory, and we take great care to ensure that it is done to the highest possible standards.
web
Showcase designs, produces and maintains web sites for a variety of clients including retailers, charities, clubs and small businesses.
Our technology lets us create these much more quickly than by expensive conventional coding methods so you can be up and running in just a few days. For emergencies, we can create a basic site within 24 hours.
Our system is fast and very flexible – you can include text, pictures, multimedia, flash , pdf’s, etc. Individual pages (or the entire site) can be secure or public. Shopping and other commercial transactions can be carried out using WorldPay (part of the Royal Bank of Scotland group).
We can organise a suitable domain name for you, or use an existing name if you already own one.
You can maintain and edit your web site content yourself. Then, if you wish, use us for only big changes or a regular monthly or annual review. Your choice.

presentations
Slide presentations are a critical but often neglected business skill. Few people are naturally good at creating or giving presentations. We can help in all areas from the initial idea through to final staging.
We can help with scripts, with wording on the slide, with slide design and with detailed execution of the whole deck. We run presentations for many of our clients who value our hands-on approach and technical knowledge and experience in an emergency.
Slideshows
Most presentations are built around a sequence of slides created in PowerPoint. We can usually significantly improve the design, clarity and legibility of the slides to make them more memorable, distinctive and impactful.
We are happy to work on full presentations from scratch, or to help you re-work existing ones.
Random access slideshows
We have considerable experience in presentations that allow you to have conversations with your audience and quickly jump to appropriate pages to illustrate your point as the conversation develops. This makes for a much more natural and informal meeting.
Presentation books
Presentations given in book form should be designed very differently from those intended for the screen and different techniques are required. These can often be done in PowerPoint for ease of development.
Templates, designs
We design template themes, templates and ‘base’ presentations for use within companies and departments, where necessary we can also create instructions and examples to ensure that they are widely and properly used.
Conferences and roadshows
Showcase has run roadshows and conferences throughout Europe, in the US and Far East. Our role is to make technical issues invisible to the speakers so they can fully concentrate on getting their message across to the audience.
Staging
We like to keep things simple and flexible and to crew with fewer, better people. Our focus is, as ever on the audience and the speakers.
Webcasting
We can arrange live or delayed webcasting, with video or audio content.
